Becoming An Agent
Farm Bureau Insurance offers the right person an outstanding career opportunity. As an agent offering life insurance, annuities, property and casualty insurance products and services. A Farm Bureau Agent is a well trained, hard working professional with a strong desire for personal growth and a real concern for helping people achieve financial security. By providing a valuable service to others, the agent can build superior income and a bright future, limited only by his/her own initiative.

There are many steps in the process of becoming a Farm Bureau agent. That's because insurance sales is not a job for everyone. We want to choose only those who have the greatest potential for success, who are truly entrepreneurial. The process begins when you complete an application. This authorizes us to order an investigative consumer report on your background and history. You will also be asked to complete some proven occupational selection tools that were specifically designed for the insurance selling career.

Then, if we mutually agree to proceed with the process, you will be interviewed in great depth by your prospective agency manager. We will then explain more about Farm Bureau Companies and our unique marketing system. We will describe the Farm Bureau agent's career development path. We will discuss our position in the industry and give you information regarding our financial condition and your potential to be successful.
