Career: Quality Assurance Technician

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN
Department:		Finance
Report To:		Chief Financial Officer


General Responsibilities
□	Under general supervision, test systems modifications to verify utilization as intended and functionality related to specific process. Perform daily/weekly/monthly quality review functions for revenue assurance and system balancing.

Primary Duties
□	Review installed changes with end users.
□	Train end user on updates, changes and new technology.
□	manage and report on testing efforts and progress.
□	Research and analyze course of action as needed.
□	Monitor production processes for potential issues and newly installed elements of applicable systems.
□	Perform quality "audits" on identified systems.

Non-Essential
□	Assign work, provide assistance, and review testing by others.
□	Assist Technical Support and Software development with analysis/clarification of problem logs and project requests.
□	Participate in meetings to discuss new processes, existing tasks, priorities and timelines.

Other Duties
□	Accurate reporting of all problems to appropriate party.
□	Determination of abnormal situations.
□	Good communication skills required to interact with technical staff.
□	On-call as needed.
□	Ability to communicate and interact with end users.
□	Identification and implementation of improvements in applicable systems.

Machines & Equipment Involved
□	Personal computers, desktop, tower, laptops.

Software Required
□	Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Experience Required
□	2 - 5 years relevant work experience with regard to required skill sets (below).

Skills Required
□	Expertise in troubleshooting problems.
□	Ability to troubleshoot software issues.
□	Excellent analytical skills.
□	Ability to multi-task and prioritize on an ongoing basis.
□	Good communication and organizational skills.
□	Above average Excel skill set.

Education
□	Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
