CONDOMINIUMS & TOWNHOME INSURANCE

Your townhome or condominium association most likely has an insurance policy for common areas, such as building exterior and walkways. We can provide protection for your personal property, liability and your guest’s medical protection. Our agents will also let you know if you qualify for any of our numerous discounts.

Building property

Can be increased to provide higher limits for the fixtures and improvements in your unit which you are responsible for under an association or corporation of property owners agreement.
   

Personal property

A full range of worldwide protection for your clothing, furnishings or other personal possessions if destroyed or damaged by a peril listed in your policy.
   

Additional living expenses

Your policy will pay up to 12 months for specific expenses when your condominium/town home is damaged due to an insured loss and you have been forced to move to other facilities. Covered items are those in addition to your normal expenses for food, shelter and other related items.
   

Personal liability

Covers you when you are legally liable for bodily injury including damage to property of others, medical payments to others and the cost of defending covered lawsuits.
   

Additional coverages

Up to $500 for bank or credit card, forgery and counterfeit money
Reasonable expenses to dispose of debris/damaged property due to covered loss
Up to $1,000 fire department charge
Temporary repairs to protect covered property from further damage
Optional protection such as business liability, increased liability limits and replacement cost on contents

Loss assessment
Provides $1,000 protection (may be increased to $10,000) against a loss assessment by your condominium/townhome association on all members due to damage from an insured peril.
